I am translating professional seminars in psychology and psychotherapy from English to Russian and backwards.

When one translates psychotherapeutic seminar, just to know English language is not enough. You have to know terminology of course, have education in psychotherapy and, most important, to be sensitive and delicate in translating psychotherapeutic messages and emotional atmosphere that is happening. This is what I learned during my translation career and doing my best to provide this during interpreting work.
